We arrived in Görlitz on September 28, 2012. The Görlitz and Bautzen Elders along with the Branch members worked all day to get the apartment ready. We arrived to a wonderful apartment with pictures on the walls, fruit in a basket on the table, a bedroom, bathroom, and a main room ready and waiting for us. Only problem--the kitchen (I can't believe I didn't take a picture). No running water, no stove, no refrigerator. We did have a hot plate and a microwave for 1 1/2 weeks. We had a royal red carpet greeting as the First Couple Missionary in the Görlitz Branch and District!
We have had fun with this district and wanted to share a few pictures with the families back home! Welcome to this blog!

Elder Gibson from Colorado, served in Görlitz for 4 transfers or 6 months!
Sister Bauman with the Bautzen Elders--Elder Colton from Boise, Idaho and Elder Goodsell from Virginia. This is along the path between the Görlitz Zoo and the Garden Plots to watch General Conference. Most families live in apartments and rent garden plots in a garden park.
This is the garden plots next to the Zoo and the giraffe tree.
Our mode of travel--Bus and Train. A special day in Görlitz with the steam engine working!
